Hillcrest Victorian Mannequins
This goodly group of rather Victorian-looking mannequins are on display in someone's upstairs veranda window on Louisville's Hillcrest Avenue - yes, that Hillcrest Avenue, the one known for its over-the-top Halloween yard displays.

Kind of reminds me of Thomas Ligotti's book "Songs of A Dreamer". That book's stories were full of mannequin references.
However most of his stories were set in Detroit and not Kentucky.
Still I think Kentucky could be considered a Ligottian state -- at least I've always believed that the more urban areas kind of have that tone to them.
