Tree Bursts From Crypt

Another find from the German Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Jeffersontown. That cemetery has some lovely Revolutionary War above-ground graves, such as the ones pictured in the bottom image below. One, however, has been completely destroyed by a tree that somehow managed to grow inside the crypt and eventually burst it apart.

Maybe this person just came back in the form of a tree. From the picture it looks like the tree didn't make it very long either...I hope a tree pops up out of my grave...

Well that IS weird........ I wonder how a tree got inside there?

Weirder still to think that it's a certainty that the tree thrived on nutrients from the decaying body, and that the tree, even though apparently dead now, still contains molecules and atoms from the corpse in its cells.

Kick ass! I want to be tree food! You still get live, in a way.

I wonder what they did with the body. Surely they moved it?
