Though it's nowhere nearly as crippling and catastrophic as the one that struck much of the state in February 2003, this recent ice storm is indeed a humdinger. 202,000 are without power tonight in Louisville. Trees and power lines are down all over the place, of course. I had to pour saucepans of boiling water on my car yesterday morning just to get the thick inches of solid ice off.
